Energy efficient homes reduce bills and improve health. By improving the efficiency of homes through insulation, we support the vulnerable in our society, we reduce our CO2 output, and we reduce the need for renewable energy, meaning we can move to a zero carbon future more easily.

Using many years of experience, the Greening Campaign has developed a programme to galvanise communities to come together and support making changes to buildings where we live.
Energy efficiency is not about creating heat- it is about conserving what we have. We will help you to support residents throughout your community to understand and address heat loss through doors, windows, walls, roof, and floors. Identifying where the main leaks are is simple and visible using our thermal imaging cameras.
Through this programme we:
- lend you a Thermal Imaging Camera
- train you in using a thermal imaging camera
- support you to safely image homes in your community
- teach you how to ‘read’ the images so you can support residents to understand and ‘see’ leaks in their homes
- supply written guides for your residents
- partner with you to run a community event where residents learn about their images, heat loss, how to access grants to upgrade their homes, and some simple home hacks to save energy
- link your community with ‘My Home Made Better’- free, trusted advice and support to save energy at home- whether you’re a home owner or not.
