The waste prevention trail is now up and running at Hordle Recreation ground! The information boards are fun, bright and above all, informative as they include a quiz to test residents’ knowledge on waste prevention. All residents are encouraged when they are next passing, to follow the trail and try to find all eight boards. Each Board has a statement about Waste, a solution to the problem, plus a quiz question to reinforce the learning.
By Hordle Recreation ground gate residents will also find a Waste Diary which they can complete and return or which may prompt them to reflect and make small changes that help to tackle this important issue.
The waste prevention trail boards are available to all participating communities.
